EQUITY ADVISORY BOARD

The Equity Advisory Board (EAB) intersects with all aspects of SPER programming and activities to ensure that equity is prioritized. The EAB meets approximately 4 times per year to review existing SPER activities and programming and to develop new initiatives to promote equity. The EAB also hosts 1-2 open meetings per year where any current or prospective SPER member can attend and discuss issues related to equity. Based on feedback received at our first open meeting in January 2021, we have developed and are working on a list of short- and long-term action items. To view our action items, click here.

If you would like to provide feedback, comments, or questions regarding any issue related to equity, inclusion, or diversity within SPER, please do so here. Your comments will be shared with the Equity Advisory Board.
