My research focuses on chemical and non-chemical exposures in pregnancy, longitudinal biomarker trajectories, and the application of advanced quantitative methods to understand preeclampsia, blood pressure, and maternal cardiovascular risk. Trained in Population Health Sciences, I bring a strong methodological foundation in causal inference, mixture modeling, and longitudinal data analysis.

My work has emphasized integrating complex exposure data, including phenols, phthalates, and neighborhood disadvantages within cumulative exposomic frameworks. Through awards such as the NIMHD William G. Coleman Jr. Research Innovation Award, I have led projects examining inflammatory mediation and cardiometabolic pathways in pregnancy. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to rigorous methods, collaborative science, and transparent analytic practices.

As Trainee Representative, I would prioritize strengthening trainee engagement across career stages, fostering cross-institutional collaboration, and ensuring that SPER programming reflects evolving methodological needs. I am particularly interested in supporting Advanced Methods Workshop content that bridges theory and application, including mixture methods, mechanistic mediation, causal inference in longitudinal settings, and reproducible research workflows.

Having navigated transitions from doctoral training to postdoctoral research while pursuing competitive funding, I am committed to creating inclusive spaces where trainees can access mentorship, build leadership skills, and meaningfully contribute to SPER’s scientific mission. It would be an honor to serve and advocate for the SPER trainee community.
